We meet every Thursday, 7:30pm fifty-two weeks a year at a pre-arranged bar in the city of Philadelphia. All runners and drinkers are welcome. Originally a live "pickup" style,we now hare raise. Trails are usually live, about 45 minutes on trail, A-to-A (start/finish at or near the same place). Cost is $10. We are a low-maintenance, strikingly attractive mob. It is a group that gets together and runs/walks stopping at various places for check points. Usually a couple of bars. But I've seen check points be slip n slides big wheel tricycles etc.. Someone hares the run and they are the only person who knows the true path. They mark their run using chalk or flour. The rest of the group, the hounds, follows the path . The last stop everyone circles up and basically has a few drinks. Nicknames are given and once you've been named, during the hash runs we can only call you by your nickname. Its a ton of fun.
