| Details: | The Dallas Hash House Harriers (Dallas H3) is a local chapter of the global, non-competitive "drinking club with a running problem" that blends outdoor exercise with social partying. Meeting every other Saturday at 2:00 PM during the colder months (and shifting to 3:00 PM during Daylight Saving Time), the group gathers across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex to follow a mystery trail marked in flour or chalk by designated "hares". Participants, or "hounds," hunt for the correct path through terrain that ranges from urban city streets to deep-woods "shiggy" mud, usually covering between 3 to 6 miles. Designed to be a social scavenger hunt rather than a race, the trail always features a midpoint beer stop and culminates in a traditional "down-down" circle ceremony filled with music, camaraderie, and cold drinks |
