Set your admin password

Open this tool on your computer after extracting the ZIP. Your password stays in this browser; the tool sends no network requests.

Choose a unique password of at least 16 characters and save it in your password manager.

Your website password will change only after you upload the generated file.

Upload two files

1. Back up your current /siteadmin/admin_bootstrap.php and any existing siteadmin_password.php to your computer.
2. Upload the included upload-to-siteadmin/admin_bootstrap.php into your website's /siteadmin/ folder.
3. Upload the newly downloaded siteadmin_password.php into that same folder, keeping its exact filename. Leave siteadmin_config.php unchanged.
4. Open https://half-mind.com/siteadmin/ and sign in using your new password. Existing admin sessions will need to sign in again.

Keep this HTML tool and its JavaScript files on your computer. Directory Health keeps its current password.
